Robin Weidhorn, MSW Intern
I am an MSW Candidate at Yeshiva University’s Wurzweiler School of Social Work. My clinical interests and experience include trauma, attachment, anxiety, and relationships, with a particular focus on how past experiences shape the way we understand ourselves and connect with others.
I came to social work after a career spanning nonprofit leadership, advocacy, and community engagement. Having spent decades mentoring others, solving problems, and fostering meaningful relationships with people from various backgrounds, I draw on a broad range of professional and life experiences to connect with clients and support their individual paths toward growth and change.
My approach is warm, curious, collaborative, and growth-oriented. I believe therapy can help people understand the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, while also creating opportunities to experience themselves differently. I am especially interested in helping clients build greater self-awareness, tolerate vulnerability and uncertainty, develop more flexibility, and feel a stronger sense of agency in their lives.
I also bring a lifelong interest in athletics, movement, mindfulness, and the connection between mind and body. I believe meaningful change happens both inside and outside the therapy room, and I hope to help clients discover new ways of engaging with themselves, their relationships, and their lives.
